At the podium, I keep it lively and entertaining. There are lots of "Holy cow!" and 'Who knew?" tidbits that tease audience interest. My mission is to prepare people for the future: We’ll reside in architecturally different homes; walk on completely different surfaces; get transported by unique vehicles; spend more time underground; and look up to find permanent fixtures floating in the sky. Air, water, power and even food will be modified and circulated in new and radical ways.
I explain why and how. I showcase the opportunities and obstacles that climate technology brings. And I like people to take away not only knowledge, but ideas they can act on.
I have traveled the world to remote environments and underground laboratories to report on radical climate innovations and the pioneers who invented them. I share my experiences as a journalist and as an author of ten books on a variety of environmental and adventurous subjects.
