The world's premier event for Commercial Diving Contractors, Remotely Operated Vehicles, Manned Submersibles, and all other aspects of the Underwater Operations Industry will take place at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA., February 11-13, 2014.
Underwater Intervention's sponsoring organizations are non-profit, membership supported professional organizations. By supporting Underwater Intervention, you are supporting and giving back to the industries and communities represented at Underwater Intervention. Proceeds from the annual conference go back into member driven programs that support education and training, provide scholarships, and support safety initiatives throughout the underwater operations industries.
UI is the combined Annual Conference of the Association of Diving Contractors International and The Marine Technology Society’s ROV Committee.
About the Association of Diving Contractors International:
Founded in 1968, ADCI was formed by a small group of diving companies whose goal was to create a nonprofit organization dedicated to the art and science of commercial diving. The establishment of industry-wide safe standards for commercial diving was the foundation upon which ADCI was built.
Since then, ADCI has grown to encompass for than 600 member companies, furnishing services and support for the conduct of safe underwater operation from 30 nations throughout the world.
About and The Marine Technology Society’s ROV Committee:
The purpose of the ROV Committee is to promote the interchange of technical information among industrial, academic, defense and other organizations on an international basis in the areas of ROVs, undersea robotics and artificial intelligence; to provide speakers to academic institutions, to increase the participation of students in the society and areas of ROV and undersea technology; and to produce technical publications related to ROV technology.
