Event Overview:
The Transporting Students with Disabilities & Preschoolers National Conference, held annually since 1992, offers workable solutions and practical answers to pressing questions about transporting students with special needs — from preschool to adult transition services. It also is designed to not only increase safety for this special student population, but also make local operations more efficient and effective in this challenging economy.
This year’s TSD Conference will feature more than three-dozen education sessions and workshops, as well as hands-on training, a trade show and the 19th Annual National Special Needs Team Roadeo, co-presented by School Transportation News and The National Association of Pupil Transportation (NAPT). This competition features more than two-dozen teams that compete in a skills competition to crown the nation’s top school bus driver and attendant.
TSD also offers Professional Development Series training courses by NAPT that offer credits toward the new Certificate of Special Needs Transportation (CSNT) program, which builds upon the previous Special Needs Transportation (SNT) Endorsement program.
Trade show + Networking event
The TSD Conference also offers a trade show and networking event, which will feature more than 70 manufacturers and suppliers offering the latest products, solutions and services that target special needs, disabilities and preschoolers.
Exhibitor Information:
The trade show attracts more than 450 attendees in search of products, solutions and services targeting special needs, disabilities and preschoolers.
More than 70 vendors attended the 2015 TSD Conference Trade Show, and connected with professionals who prepare specifications for special needs products and services; make final decisions on purchases; and are responsible for recommending purchases. Exhibitors will find people who are transporters, first and foremost, who transport children of all sizes and distinctions.

The TSD Conference will highlight a 37,000-square-foot exhibit area at the Kentucky International Convention
Center for a one-day trade show. The KICC is located less than two blocks south of the Galt House Hotel, which
includes a skywalk connecting the hotel to the KICC. The trade show will include approximately 17,800 square feet of exhibits.
