The Oncology Nursing Society Congress is a professional development conference for oncology nurses.

The conference is a prominent gathering place for professionals and organizations who are committed to the promotion of excellence in oncology nursing and the transformation of cancer care.
Attendees will be able to discover dynamic sessions and events covering hot topics in cancer care that rejuvenate, refocus, and revitalize their practice and their own professional development. Five specialized learning tracks focus on: Clinical Practice, Advanced Practice, Leadership/Management/Education, Research, and Radiation.
At the conference, attendees will be able to:
• Discuss opportunities to facilitate professional development and growth of current and future roles in the oncology nursing profession.
• Examine advancements in symptom management and cancer care delivery grounded in expert guidelines and best practices.
• Describe evidence-based findings from research and clinical practice to advance cancer care from etiology, prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, to end of life.
• Identify priorities and innovative approaches integral to improving access, quality, and value in cancer dare delivery across the continuum.
In addition, there are peer-to-peer learning opportunities through posters and project presentations presented by oncology nurses who have conducted projects at their institutions to improve patient care and efficiencies.
The Congress offers avenues for nurses to decompress and focus on their own well-being, as well as important evidence-based education and resources, so that they are better equipped to deliver the best patient care for their institution.
Participants will earn up to 50 nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) contact hours through the Congress sessions and poster presentations and also get the opportunity to earn Individual Learning Needs Assessment (ILNA) points to meet their certification needs.

The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is a professional association that represents 100,000 nurses and is the professional home to more than 35,000 members. ONS is committed to promoting excellence in oncology nursing and the transformation of cancer care.
Since 1975, ONS has provided a professional community for oncology nurses, developed evidence-based education programs and treatment information, and advocated for patient care, all in an effort to improve the quality of life and outcomes for patients with cancer and their families.
