Gateway Farm Expo is the longest running farm show in Nebraska and draws thousands of visitors each year.
The expo is scheduled in late November, after harvest, allowing farmers and ranchers time to have a good handle on their production and operation goals for the next year.

The expo is strategically positioned to maximize opportunities to make sales and promote agricultural technology, equipment and operation inputs.These opportunities create sales at the Gateway Farm Expo!

Kearney Farm Expo, Inc., a nonprofit organization, show coordinators from KAAPA Coop and volunteers from local businesses keep the show running successfully. Show proceeds are used to promote Gateway Farm Expo and its exhibitors. Regional newspapers and radio stations advertise the show during a 60-day time frame.

Gateway Farm Expo prides itself on promoting agricultural education in communities across Nebraska. Students involved in 4-H, Agribusiness clubs, FFA and collegiate education in agriculture benefit from Gateway scholarships and donations.

The Gateway Farm Expo has long been held at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds in Kearney Nebraska.The modern buildings can house over 400 exhibit spaces.

All of the 10x10 booths and a number of the larger booths are on concrete flooring. Many indoor booths provide access and space to include large equipment displays. Multiple overhead doors allow for equipment and displays to be brought into each building seamlessly.

A loading dock, direct shipping options, forklift service, pallet jacks, wagons and 110v electricity are available and included with your booth rental.

The Gateway Farm Expo now features over 400 booth spaces - all filled with agricultural exhibitors. Many booths offer "cash & carry" items that are just right for you to take home that day or view the large scale products and services available for an investment in your future.

From the latest in large agriculture equipment to small items that make daily farm tasks more efficient, everyone attending the show will find something of interest.

The FREE pork and beef barbecue, offered each day at lunch has become a time-honored tradition that everyone enjoys. Made possible by the many volunteers who prepare it and the local businesses who sponsor and serve it. This lunchtime tradition puts a smile on the faces of visitors and exhibitors alike.

Speaker Opportunities

The Gateway Farm Expo is an outstanding forum to reach out to farmers, ranchers and other agri-business professionals. We expect to bring together thousands of outstanding and diverse exhibitors and attendees, all with an interest in agriculture and related products and services such as yours.

An excellent opportunity exists this year to reach those potential customers – a full one-hour time slot for you to present an educational topic during one of our speaker sessions!

Last year we filled the 40 seats more than once for these sessions, and with even more promotion this year we anticipate even greater success. There will be six one-hour speaker sessions available, four sessions on Wednesday and two sessions on Thursday morning. Your cost for this hour long educational session is just $100.

We offer our attendees valuable information by selecting a variety of speaker topics for these sessions. Ideally, only one speaker will be chosen from a general topic area. Preference will be given to proposals which are highly relevant to today’s producers, those which have a unique angle on their subject, and speakers who approach their topic from an educational perspective.
