Event Overview:

The Southern Association of Colleges & School Commission on Colleges is the accreditation body for over 800 colleges & universities in 11 southern states & Latin America.  The Annual Meeting & Expo draws over 4,000 attendees and approximately 100 Exhibitors. Companies who provide a product or service to institutions of higher learning are invited to join our event.

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges will conduct its 122nd Annual Meeting at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in downtown Dallas, Texas, December 2-5, 2017. This year’s meeting will engage participants in sessions based on theory, research, and practice that focus on this year’s theme, “Students Are the HEART of Education.” The conference will highlight the sharing of ideas and strategies among member institutions that have led to improved results and lessons learned in the form of workshops, concurrent sessions, group discussions and poster sessions. Workshops and sessions will feature content within the following tracks:

• Assessing Student Learning Outcomes
• Reflecting for Improvement
• Teaching and Learning

Attendees include:

Chancellors; presidents; provosts; vice presidents for business services and fiscal affairs; accreditation liaisons; faculty; academic deans, department chairs and program directors; administrative staff in academic affairs, assessment, institutional research, student affairs, technology, and information management.

Attendees at the SACSCOC Annual Meeting occupy positions at the highest level of academia in 11 Southern states and Latin America.

ABOUT THE EXPO The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges will hold its 18th Annual Educational Excellence Expo December 3-4, 2017 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Dallas TX.

In conjunction with SACSCOC’s 122nd Annual Meeting, the Educational Excellence Expo is designed to connect representatives of state-of-the-art goods and services with educational decision makers in the Southwest.

Our ultimate objectives are to enhance educational excellence and lay the framework for solutions to current challenges in postsecondary education.
