AOSSM and AANA are proud to bring you the AOSSM-AANA Combined 2021 Annual Meeting, the most comprehensive level of education and research from today’s sports medicine and arthroscopy world leaders.
The health and safety of our Annual Meeting community remains our top priority as we continue to monitor the changing landscape with regard to COVID-19. We are following CDC guidelines and will abide by federal, state and local mandates at the time of the meeting, collaborating with our service partners to ensure appropriate measures are in place.
We encourage participants to be vaccinated; however, a vaccination or vaccination card is not required to attend. Within the AOSSM-AANA meeting and event spaces, those who are fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a mask. Vaccinated participants who are more comfortable wearing a mask are encouraged to do so.
Unvaccinated individuals are required to wear a mask indoors at all times, unless eating or drinking.
Safety protocols and service adjustments may be in effect in hotels, restaurants and other businesses. Please be sure to check appropriate websites prior to arrival.
Safety measures at the meeting include:
Hand sanitizer stations throughout the meeting space
Disposable masks available upon request
Frequent hand washing recommended
Responsible distanced seating in all meetings spaces
Increased aisles and one-way designated entrance and exist doorways in the exhibit hall
Distancing encouraged in crowded settings and registration queues
Reduced touch points for a “low-touch” environment - minimal handouts, no ribbons
