The D.I.C.E. Summit is a conference dedicated to exploring approaches to the creative process and artistic expression as they uniquely apply to the development of interactive entertainment.

The Summit will be bringing together the top video game designers and developers from around the world and business leaders from all major publishers to discuss the state of the industry, its trends and the future. It is also home to the industry's premier annual awards show, the D.I.C.E. Awards, to promote and acknowledge exceptional accomplishments in the field.

In addition, the Summit will be featuring inspiring talks and curated discussions with industry experts.

The Industry Town Hall is a forum for the interactive entertainment community to address a panel of industry leaders, including select members of the AIAS board of directors. This exclusive event will feature an open discussion of topics most relevant and top of mind to the industry.

Roundtables are intimate, moderated group discourses where attendees can discuss amongst peers a variety of topics important to the interactive entertainment industry.

Workshops are smaller, breakout sessions geared towards a greater level of audience interaction and sharing. Panels and discussions engage with an intimate group of people and emphasizes joint exploration of ideas and concepts relevant to the industry and workplace.

Organizer

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) was founded in 1996 as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and recognition of the interactive arts. The organization has more than 30,000 members.

The mission of the AIAS is to promote and advance the worldwide interactive entertainment community; recognize outstanding achievements in the interactive arts and sciences; and host an annual awards show, the D.I.C.E. Awards, to enhance awareness of the interactive art form. Other special programs and initiatives led by the AIAS also include the prestigious D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit, bringing together the top video game designers and developers from around the world and business leaders from all major publishers to discuss the state of the industry, its trends and the future; Game Maker’s Sketchbook, an exploration and celebration of the art of video games; and Game Maker’s Notebook, a podcast featuring a series of in-depth, one-on-one conversations between game makers.
