The AMEA Conference brings together music educators.
Why Attend – 2023
The conference will provide relevant and focused professional development for Arizona’s music educators. It will focus on the academic and nonacademic attributes that will energize student learning, student engagement and provide inspiration through 100+ sessions offered for Arizona’s elementary, secondary and collegiate music educators.
The conference provides attendees innovative, new standards-based teaching strategies to use in their classroom and to share with other teachers, students and parents.
Attendees will meet with fellow music educators and have dedicated time to network and learn best practices. They will earn recertification hours for attending the conference.
In addition, participants will have access to exhibitors who will provide new and innovative musical instruments, materials and equipment to test drive on behalf of their district and their music colleagues.
A special feature of the conference is an Administrator Track, which has sessions designed to inform and support administrative leadership in music education.

Organizer
The Arizona Music Educators Association was established in 1939 as a cooperative effort of music educators. Since that time, the association has become affiliated with the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in 1983.
The Mission of the Arizona Music Educators Association is to promote the study and enjoyment of music by supporting comprehensive music instruction and providing professional development activities.
