About AAOMS
The AAOMS is a not-for-profit, voluntary educational and scientific organization with almost 10,000 member oral and maxillofacial surgeons who specialize in the surgical and related treatment of diseases, injuries and deformities involving both functional and esthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, gums and jaws. Many members pursue additional education and training beyond the minimum requirements of four years of dental school and an additional four years of hospital-based residency training.
