WELCOME TO THE 2020 IUVA AMERICAS CONFERENCE
As new challenges continue to arise in drinking water, reuse water and wastewater treatment, air pollution, hospital infections, ballast water treatment and industrial effluents, new applications emerge for UV technologies. The focus of this conference is to present the recent advancements in technology and research addressing the environmental, health, and treatment process challenges of today, as well as to discuss the current trends in UV regulations and new applications.

About us
The International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) was established to serve the following aims and objectives:
To provide a forum for the discussion of all scientific and technological issues that relate to the use of ultraviolet light;

To provide a common voice for the interests of companies using ultraviolet technologies and manufacturing ultraviolet lamps or equipment;

To organize periodic international and national conferences focused on ultraviolet technologies;

To publish a regular Newsletter (IUVA News) to keep members informed of new developments in the applications of ultraviolet technology;

To encourage the establishment of rational terms, units and nomenclature in the fields of ultraviolet technology;

To encourage research into the advancement of the applications of ultraviolet technologies;

To encourage the adoption of rational environmental regulations that would encourage the use of ultraviolet technologies.

Our vision
To make the use of Ultraviolet Technology a leading technology for public health and environmental applications, and to position IUVA as the leading authority on the use of Ultraviolet Technology through advocacy to the education, industry, research and public policy sectors world wide.

Strategic Initiatives
Since 2009, a series of member based teams are executing Strategic Initiatives deemed critical for the future growth of the IUVA. Below -- available to members -- are updates from these teams detailing programs and activities. This is a new Section of IUVA News that will be used to update our members with new information from each team.

RadTech UV+EB Technology Expo and Conference takes place March 9-11, 2019 at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida. RadTech UV+EB 2020 is the bi-ennial, global event for the UV+EB industry with over 1400 attendees from over 25 countries.

The 2020 IUVA Americas Conference takes place March 9-11, 2019 at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida. This event is co-located with the RadTech 2020 UV+EB Technology Expo & Conference which usually draws over 1300 attendees. IUVA exhibits will be located in a pavilion on the show floor.
