Chief Executive Officer Intel
Brian Krzanich is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Intel. He was elected CEO in May 2013 after serving in a variety of technical and leadership roles in manufacturing and as the company’s chief operating officer.
As CEO, Krzanich is transforming Intel from a PC-centric to a data-centric company. Under his leadership, Intel has expanded in markets like memory, modems and programmable solutions while investing in emerging areas like AI, 5G and autonomous driving. These efforts have aligned Intel around what Krzanich sees as its greatest opportunities for growth and invention – all driven by the explosion of data.
Krzanich has also brought diversity and inclusion to the forefront of Intel’s priorities, committing to full representation of women and underrepresented minorities in Intel’s U.S. workforce by the end of 2018.
Chief Executive Officer Huawei Consumer Business Group
Mr. Chengdong (Richard) Yu is the Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Consumer Business Group. In this role, he is responsible for the communication and implementation of the group's overall business strategy, performance and growth. Mr. Yu also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Huawei Technologies.
Mr. Yu began his career at Huawei in 1993 as a software engineer and rose to become the chief technology engineer in the Wireless Network Product Line. He was responsible for establishing Huawei’s Analog Radio Access, as well as the research and development of the GSM, UMTS and CDMA2000 network standards and products. Other positions that he also held include vice president of the Huawei Wireless Product Line and vice president of Huawei Global Product Marketing.
As a wireless technology expert and business leader with over 20 years of experience, Mr. Yu has been one of the core pioneers who has exponentially grown Huawei into the global corporation that it is today. He has shaped key functions such as R&D, technology and product strategy development, as well as sales and marketing. Prior to his position as CEO, Mr. Yu held a number of key executive positions including as head of the European region from 2008 to 2010 and president of the Huawei Wireless Product Line.
While he was head of the European region, Mr. Yu led the overall business development, sales and marketing functions in key priority markets. Under his leadership, Huawei Europe won key contracts with major telecommunication operators in the region and became one of the top telecom equipment providers worldwide. This achievement established Huawei as a global force in the industry.
Mr. Yu holds a master's degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
