Event Overview:

The premier naval conference and exposition on the West Coast, WEST is now in its 26th year of bringing military and industry leaders together. Co-sponsored by AFCEA International and the U.S. Naval Institute, WEST is the foremost event in which the makers of platforms and the designers of technologies can network, discuss and demonstrate their solutions in a single locale. To complete their missions successfully, more than 150,000 professionals in the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard who live in the San Diego area depend on the open discussions and valuable networking WEST provides.

More than the operators benefit from participating in WEST. The event enables senior military and government officials to gain valuable feedback directly from sea service warfighters. Industry leaders learn about military requirements and connect with decision makers as well as operators in a professional environment away from the office.

One highlight of WEST 2016 will be a town hall discussion among Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard leaders. The program will feature the new Pacific Command and Pacific Fleet commanders, the Systems Command commanders and all three local three-star commanders as speakers. Other commands and organizations will also are featured.

In addition to the main program, WEST 2016 offers Engagement Theaters in which military, government and industry professionals will drill deeper into specific topics and issues.
