About ISACA:

As an independent, nonprofit, global association, ISACA engages in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems. Previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, ISACA now goes by its acronym only, to reflect the broad range of IT governance professionals it serves.

What We Offer & Whom We Serve:

ISACA provides practical guidance, benchmarks and other effective tools for all enterprises that use information systems. Through its comprehensive guidance and services, ISACA defines the roles of information systems governance, security, audit and assurance professionals worldwide. The COBIT framework and the CISA, CISM, CGEIT and CRISC certifications are ISACA brands respected and used by these professionals for the benefit of their enterprises.

Volunteering:

ISACA’s greatest asset is its members, and those members who step forward and volunteer to contribute to the association’s work provide exceptional service. Volunteers make valuable contacts, strengthen leadership skills, learn more about the organization, contribute to the profession’s knowledge base, and help fellow members develop professionally.

IT Governance Institute (ITGI):

ISACA formed the ITGI to focus on original research, publications, resources and symposia on IT governance and related topics. In addition to the work carried out by the ITGI, ISACA addresses the topic through a regular column in, and occasional dedicated issues of, the ISACA Journal, conference sessions and tracks, and education courses.

Speed Networking:

Speed Networking takes the traditional values of face-to face networking and combines them with the latest smart-matching software. The result is a strategic, structured and rapid-fire networking event designed to help you share ideas, make new connections and build business relationships. Take advantage of this opportunity to network and earn an additional CPE credit hour.

In order to participate, you must add the session to your schedule when you register for the conference while space is still available. If you’ve already registered for the conference, simply click on the “Register Now” button above, log in, and you will be able to update your session selections to include Speed Networking. In order to participate you must select it here or in the mobile app, no later than 24 hours prior to the session. No additional participants will be accepted after that time.

Once you have selected the session, approximately 2 months prior to the event you will receive an email from Speed Networking Solutions LLC containing a link that will be for the North America CACS Speed Networking participants. There, you will be asked to create your profile so that you can be matched according to levels of experience & personal topic preferences.

IMPORTANT: In order to ensure the success of this networking experience, attendance is mandatory for each person that signs up for the session & completes their profile. If you would like to cancel you must do so by updating your session selection online or in the mobile app no later than 24 hours before the session.
