Prototype is a curated showcase of the next generation of designers. This feature is a juried platform featuring products not currently in production addressing new ideas for the residential market. Studio North is the marketplace for designers to showcase custom works and limited-edition collections to the design industry, media, and a discerning design audience. Canadian and international designers of the highest caliber present one-off and custom collections of furniture, lighting, glass, ceramics, textiles and surface design in a gallery-like setting.
The District is the show’s popular cash and carry neighbourhood that features fresh collections of design products for the home. It is the marketplace for designers to show and sell to discerning consumers and industry insiders.
The Collect section presented by Artist Project section at the show provides independent, contemporary artists with a professional platform to showcase and sell their work on the West Coast to a diverse, educated and savvy art and design audience.
