The Southeastern Section of the AUA Annual Meeting is a professional development conference for urologists.

The annual meeting seeks to provide a forum for the communication of current knowledge and techniques regarding the treatment and diagnosis of bladder, prostate and kidney diseases. The meeting provides scientific programs which include state-of-the-art lectures and guest speakers focusing on a wide-range of topics related to the field of urology.
The Annual Meeting and the accompanying scientific program address the educational need for expert-led discussions regarding current topics in urology. Through a combination of lectures and question-and-answer formats, this program serves as a forum to provide state-of-the-art educational content relevant to its members and guests.
Moreover, advancements in medical science and progress in management of various urologic diseases require basic and clinical research. Presentation and discussion of such peer-reviewed and peer-selected summaries and results of investigations provide “cutting edge” updates for practicing clinicians as well as essential feedback to researchers on the practical applications and translation of their investigations to clinical practice.
Attendees will be able to earn a maximum of 24.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

The Southeastern Section of the AUA (SESAUA) is but one of the many "Sections" of the American Urological Association, Inc., the "AUA." The AUA itself is now an international organization of urologists, numbering more than 13,000.
The Southeastern Section is composed of almost 2,100 urologists; all the active members having been certified by the American Board of Urology, practicing, teaching, and researching in 9 of the southeastern United States, Panama, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This Section continues to grow and contribute to the body of scientific knowledge in Urology, as does the entire AUA.
