Let's Get Personal!

Events in America allows you to personalize your search results with Saved Searches, Personal Notes, Preferred Event Lists, and Private Events.

Saved Searches.

Did you find events that were especially valuable? Save them as a Saved Search! Members can create names for their saved searches so they can quickly find their events and search criteria at a later date. And when the saved search is accessed again, any newly added event data that matches the saved criteria will be displayed in red.

Personal Notes.

As a Member, you can add your own personal notes to the events you save. The Notes field will be handy for capturing additional information about an event, such as best days for attendance, information on weather or accommodations, answers to questions from staff, and more. And only you will be able to see the personal notes you add.

Preferred Event Lists.

Suppose your Saved Search produces more events than you can attend. With EIA, you can narrow your Saved Search to only those events you want to attend and keep it as a Preferred Event List. EIA can store both your Saved Searches and Preferred Events lists, so you don't lose the original search results.

Private Events.

You can also add events to your list that aren't included in our database – events that may be applicable to only you or your company. For instance, maybe you're coordinating a mobile tour and you need to build a stop into your schedule at one of the organization's field offices. You can add a Private Event that only you will see. This will help you build a final event schedule.

Then build your schedule.

Once you have your list of Preferred Events, you can sort it by date to give you a chronologic event schedule. You can also build individualized schedules by region, dates, and other criteria.
