World Routes, the World Route Development Forum, is the largest and most important commercial aviation event of its kind. The event attracts senior decision makers from across the globe positioning it as the must attend event for all those interested in meeting with the industry's key players.
In 2014 World Routes, now in its 20th year is expected to attract over 3,000 delegates representing 300 airlines, 800 airports and 200 tourism authorities along with a number of other industry stakeholders to discuss the future of air service development. The event consists of four main elements:
Airlines, airports and tourism authorities have the opportunity to meet and discuss both new market opportunities and existing services at pre-scheduled Face-to-Face meetings. These meetings are arranged online prior to the event based on delegate requests, and a personal diary is issued on arrival available as a paper copy or via the World Routes Smartphone App.
Scheduling for World Routes 2014 will open on 2nd June. Delegates will then have access to the system until 5th September when scheduling closes, meaning that meeting requests can be submitted and amended at any time.
Routes events encourage all delegates to network as much as possible and this is facilitated in a number of ways:
World Routes Conference Programme
World Routes Conference Programme is a multi-stream programme of events which will enable delegates to hear from aviation industry leaders from across the globe and providing the opportunity to engage and interact with speakers and topics alike. The Conference Programme promises to deliver excellent and relevant content to all attendees.
Route Exchange Airline Briefings
Delivered by senior network planners and exclusively open to attending airports and tourism authorities, Route Exchange Airline Briefings are an opportunity for attendees to gain a unique insight into the planning structure of the airline along with an overview of the carriers, allowing them to view, first-hand, what information the airline requires from the airports and destinations when making route proposals.
Booking a hosted networking stand, meeting chalet or shell scheme is a great way to raise your profile. Our huge exhibition and ‘Networking Village’ are designed to put your airport, destination or organization in front of the largest available relevant audience. Book your place and you’ll be seen by air service development professionals and senior decision makers from the world’s airlines, airports and destinations.
