WMEA presents an in-service conference over Presidents Day Weekend each year. The next conference will be held in Yakima from February 17-20, 2012. This will be the Diamond Jubilee conference, celebrating 75 years of WMEA supporting music education.

More than 1,000 music educators from around the state are expected to attend this year’s conference, which will include more than 100 educational sessions, 30 performing groups, 80 exhibitors and more than 1,600 students in the WMEA All-State honor groups, which includes students in grades 5 through 12.
