USCA 16 - 20th Annual U.S. Conference on AIDS
For nearly two decades, USCA has sought to increase the strength and diversity of the community-based response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic through education, training, new partnerships, collaboration and networking.
In 2016, USCA will continue to highlight how the Affordable Care Act can help us draw even closer to ending the epidemic, while focusing on the challenges we still have to overcome to achieve this vision.
USCA is the largest AIDS-related gathering in the U.S., bringing together over thousands of workers from all fronts of the HIV/AIDS epidemic - from case managers and physicians, to public health workers and advocates, people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHAs) and policy-makers - to build national support networks, exchange the latest information and learn cutting-edge tools to address the challenges of HIV/AIDS.
Organizations and companies that provide services to help people deliver education, research, treatment and/or care to people living with HIV or AIDS and/or improve the lives and effectiveness of those working toward ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic should consider exhibiting at USCA.
The National Minority AIDS Council (NMAC), a 501(c)3 organization, develops leadership in communities of color to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Since 1987, NMAC has advanced this mission through a variety of programs and services, including: a public policy education program, national and regional training conferences, a treatment and research program, numerous electronic and materials and a website: http://www.nmac.org/.
NMAC also serves as an association of AIDS service organizations providing valuable information to communitybased organizations, hospitals, clinics and other groups assisting individuals and families affected by the AIDS epidemic.
NMAC’s advocacy efforts are funded through private funders and donors only.
