More than just a training event or pulse-pounding competition, SWAT Round-Up is a sum that is greater than its parts. Ultimately it is an opportunity for operators across the globe to come together as one to learn from each other. The brotherhood you share with your teammates will extend to your fellow operators as you train, compete and cheer each other on. The relationships you form here will be based on your shared values of loyalty, bravery and dedication to saving lives and these bonds will last your lifetime.
The training and education program is a vital component of the SWAT Round-Up International experience. Training for 2014 will be conducted by nationally renowned instructors and will include numerous relevant courses for SWAT and ERTs. No other venue offers an equal gathering of distinguished experts.
Each of the five Round-Up competition events should be considered a training opportunity. These events are geared for simulation of real life scenarios and are intended to challenge the team as a unit. Optional events emphasize weapon expertise and physical fitness.
Others may attempt to emulate the SWAT Round-Up International experience, but there is no equal.
If your product is of interest to law enforcement, corrections, contractual or military special operations teams, then the SWAT Round-Up International Vendor Show targets your clientele. The continuous traffic of attending teams and individuals is further increased by agency administrators and purchasing agents, as well as local police and military visitors. Approximately 4,000 individuals will visit the site during the event.
The Vendor Show pavilion is located outdoors, adjacent to all competition events at the range site. It is an open-air location with cement flooring, a permanent roof and no walls. The show is truly interactive, with visitors and competitors commingling throughout the day as they walk through the 100-plus booths.
Demonstrations of your product(s) are encouraged as a means of educating our attendees about products that can be useful to them. A limited number of time slots for vendor demonstrations, including live fire, is available for purchase. Diamond, Platinum and Gold sponsors have demonstrations included in their sponsorship package. For other vendors, two 30-minute demo times are available for $500.
All demonstrations must be coordinated and scheduled with Michelle Griffin.
