North Texas Plano Race for the Cure | June 8, 2013

Race Basics

The 23rd Annual Komen North Texas Race for the Cure will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 in at the Plano Campuses of Hewlett Packard (HP) and The Campus at Legacy (5400 Legacy Drive, Plano, TX 75024). All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, even in the event of inclement weather. We have both a competitive 5K (3.1 miles) and a casual 5k for those who prefer to walk or jog. A large percentage of our registrants choose to walk rather than run the 5K. We also offer a one mile family fun run/walk and a Kids 50-yard dash in our Kids for the Cure area.

Registered breast cancer Survivors can enjoy the amenities of ourSurvivor Tent during the day's festivities.  In the beautifully decorated Survivor Tent, breakfast will be served and door prizes will be given away to Survivors and their guests.  The Survivor must have on a current year Survivor shirt or current year Survivor Race bib and the guest must wear the wristband (provided in the Survivor Race packet) in order to gain access to the Survivor Tent.
