Annual Pumpkin Show Returns for Its 11th Year 2014

Woodstown/New Jersey --The show dates are announced for the 11th annual South Jersey Pumpkin Show 2014.This three-day family fall festival is slated for October 10th-12th. Show hours are Friday, 5pm-10pm Saturday, 10am to 8pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm.
The Salem County Fairground is located at 735 Rte. 40 (Harding Hwy) Woodstown, New Jersey, will host this popular South Jersey fall festival. The fairgrounds will be transformed into colorful displays of mums, painted pumpkins, fall decorations and over 75 handcrafted scarecrows.
The Pumpkin Show festival will showcase local craftsmen, live entertainment, professional home and garden companies, wine sampling and food galore. Shop from rows and rows of craftsmen offering fall wreaths, baskets, quilts, pottery, jewelry, glassware, wood working and more.
Pumpkin enthusiast--WE HAVE IT ALL! The Big Pumpkin Weigh-Off is back for 2014 and will be featured on Sunday, Oct. 12th starting at noon. Pumpkin growers are invited to compete cash and prize money for the heaviest pumpkin to tip our scales. Opening night the lighting of the giant pumpkin pyramid. Sit by the pyramid for storytelling and watch for the arrival of the headless horsemen to appear. The Pumpkin Show will have pumpkin pies, fudge, cookies, scarecrows, dolls, to pumpkin wreaths. The Pumpkin Dessert Baking Contest on Saturday will offer free sampling for festival goers. Little Miss & Mister Pumpkin Show Pageant, for girls and boys ages four to seven years old will be held on Sunday at 2:00pm.
Activities at the festival include yearly favorites like the All Breed Costumed Dog Show, Friendly Boo Barn, free craft making, hayrides, Children’s Amusement Rides and decorated baby strollers on parade.
The South Jersey Pumpkin Show was picked by CBS of New York as one of the best fall festivals in New Jersey. Come see for yourself why thousands of families show up year after year.
Plan to stop by the Fall Home & Garden Expo area and talk to the professionals about all your fall and winter home improvement projects. Companies representing, windows & doors, sheds, sunrooms, automobiles, decking, kitchens, banking, landscaping, security, Home Party Plans, lawn services, guttering, basement and remodeling will be on hand .

General Admission Free-- Parking $5.00 a carload. This festival was created out of love and hard work by owners Kathy and Beau Wright, friends and family.
