Corporate Visibility opportunities at SCUP’s annual conference have been renewed and renamed! The Idea Marketplace is now called The Corner.

You can . . . meet at the corner . . . go to the corner café. . . get a corner booth . . . it is a place where people and things come together. The floor layout also reflects the new name—all corner booths, eating areas, presentation squares and kiosks. In addition, we have increased the onsite visibility for our sponsors by creating corners where they can host a lounge, display boards, or have an electronic presence.

Our goal is to provide you with a new variety of ways to achieve visibility, similar to the variety of ways that people can now learn. No longer is a classroom with a teacher in front of the room the only way to convey knowledge. Similarly, standing in a booth with people in front of you is no longer the only way to share knowledge at a conference. There are alternatives including: lecture, dialog, participation, interaction, hands-on, observation—whether in person, in print, or online. We have created new visibility opportunities and added new benefits to the ones we have always offered. We’re excited about these changes and hope you are too. Think beyond the booth! About SCUP:

The Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), which was established in 1965, is a community of senior, higher education leaders who are responsible for, or are involved in, the integration of planning on their campuses and for the professionals who support them. SCUP is an affiliate of the University of Michigan's School of Education.

Members look to SCUP to find ways to successfully integrate the institution's mission into their academic plan, and then seek to integrate all other kinds of planning on campus in support of the academic plan.
