EVENT DESCRIPTION

Event Overview:

SCM19 presents a unique opportunity for busy renal health care providers to learn new developments related to all aspects of nephrology. It is designed for kidney doctors in the private sector and academia, fellows and residents with a special interest in kidney disease, general internists, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and technicians, social workers, and renal and clinical dietitians.

An important objective of SCM19 is to present the latest insights into chronic kidney disease care. Participants will learn about new and evolving concepts related to kidney disease through a carefully designed combination of interesting courses, practical workshops, thought-provoking symposia and insightful debates incorporating the latest developments in clinical nephrology.

Exhibitor Information:

For over 25 years,  nephrology healthcare professionals from across the country have come to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Spring Clinical Meetings to learn about the newest developments related to all aspects of nephrology practice, network with colleagues, and present their research findings.  The NKF Spring Clinical Meetings is designed for meaningful change in the multidisciplinary healthcare teams’ skills, performance, and patient health outcomes.  It is the only conference of its kind that focuses on translating science into practice for the entire healthcare team.

Nearly 3,000 healthcare professionals attended the National Kidney Foundation 2017 Spring Clinical Meetings to learn about the most current science and how to improve patient outcomes in their practical applications. This year, we expect well over 3,000 professionals to attend the Spring Clinical Meetings, including Physicians, Pharmacists, Fellows and Residents, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses and Technicians, Renal and Clinical Dietitians, Social Workers and Transplant Coordinators.

This is your once-a-year opportunity to demonstrate your brand's relevance to hundreds of health care practitioners in one convenient location! To help attract the maximum number of attendees to your booth, the Expo is primarily open when sessions are closed. Poster presentations are located in the Exhibit Hall, and show hours include breakfast, brunch, lunch and evening networking receptions.

About NKF:

A major voluntary nonprofit health organization, the National Kidney Foundation is dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation.

Through its more than 50 local offices nationwide, NKF provides vital patient and community services, conducts extensive public and professional education, advocates for patients through legislative action, and supports kidney research to identify new treatments.

NKF relies on individual and corporate donations, business partnerships, foundation and government grants, and revenue from special events. More than 81 cents of each dollar donated to NKF goes directly to support its program and services.
