Extreme Engineering is what you get with the SAE Collegiate Design Competitions. Go beyond textbook theory by designing, building and testing the performance of a real vehicle. Join other students from around the globe in exciting and intense competitions.  Land your first engineering job by talking with recruiters from leading companies in the mobility industry.  Spectators are welcome at all Collegiate Design Series competitions. 75 teams from 9 countries will be competing in Lakeland.  Admission is free.   Access to designated Team Paddocks is limited to "Registered Attendees" and considered a "Restricted Area". A "registered attendee" is anyone 18 years of age or older, has signed the liability waiver and has been issued a wristband from the registration area. (No one under 18 years of age may enter the paddocks.)
