Event Overview:

It's time for PLMA's Store Brands Reality Trade Show. More than 2,600 exhibit booths, over 5,000 buyers and visitors, nearly 20,000 different products - from food, snacks and beverages to health and beauty, kitchen, household and GM- all store brands, all under one roof at one time.

Buyers from every channel, too: today's supermarkets, supercenters, drug chains, mass merchandisers, convenience stores, online retailers, importers, exporters, wholesalers, discounters, and even military exchanges, all will be on hand to find new products and identify new suppliers.

At the 2015 show, nearly 1,300 companies from 40 countries, including 15 international pavilions, will be exhibiting their products. From food, snacks and beverages to household and kitchen products, from health and beauty to pet care, home/office and general merchandise. Exhibitors range from small and medium-size companies to well-known national brand makers who also supply store brands.

To maximize efficiency, the show floor is divided into three halls. The North Hall and Sky Hall are devoted to food, snacks and beverages while the South Hall presents health and beauty, household and general merchandise. In total more than 2,600 exhibit booths will be on display.

To help member companies meet retailers from the U.S. and Canada, PLMA organises its U.S. Private Label Trade Show in Chicago each November. Buyers from all major supermarkets, supercenters, drug chains, mass merchandisers, convenience stores, online retailers, importers, exporters, wholesalers, discounters, and even military exchanges participate.

No show offers exhibitors an opportunity to meet as many buyers from as many retail channels. That's why almost 85% of the show's exhibit space is renewed every year and overall exhibit space has been expanding 10% annually. Don't miss the chance to build your private label business.

The key to the show’s success has been the quality of the buyers who attend. In many cases, the visitors are directors of private label merchandising, marketing or procurement who can make important decisions. Over the last decade, the show has also become increasingly popular among retailers from Latin America, who come to Chicago to source for their expanding private label programmes.

The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1979 to promote private label. It is the only organisation of its kind, representing more than 3,500 member companies around the globe. Membership ranges from multinational corporations to small family-owned companies. Their products include food, beverages, snacks, health and beauty, household and kitchen, DIY, and personal and leisure products. Some manufacturers only do private label. Others are well-known brand makers who also have private label operations.
