The nation's largest gathering of legislators and legislative staff for more than 40 years.

Each summer, NCSL brings thousands of legislators and staff together for its Legislative Summit, the largest and most substantive meeting of its kind in the nation. The Legislative Summit provides more than 150 informative sessions and presents nationally renowned speakers on the most pressing issues. Speakers have included the president of the United States, congressional leaders, cabinet members and experts from universities, think tanks and the private sector.
