This three-day conference will focus on corrosion and asset integrity management in the oil and gas industry with a theme of knowledge transfer to our youth:
Passing the Baton – Then, Now and Future
With both our infrastructure and our workforce aging, it is important as a community to share information related to challenges and solutions for integrity and corrosion management in the oil and gas industry. Increasingly, industry leaders are recognizing the importance of integrity management as a key investment, and as technical experts we are looked upon to make the best use of the investment in order to maximize the return for all stakeholders, be they members of the public, regulators, or shareholders.
The conference will focus on conventional oil and gas production, as well as bitumen producing facilities and pipelines, and will have a multi-track program which includes material selection, corrosion mechanisms, protective coatings, chemical inhibition and other topics. In addition, there will be a regulatory forum which will encourage discussion between members of industry and representatives from the various regulatory bodies.
During the conference, a trade show area will host a variety of service providers to allow discussions between vendors and end-users to bring state-of-the-art solutions to industry challenges. The trade show always presents a broad-band networking opportunity. We would like to thank and acknowledge our sponsors in advance for making this conference a success.
Attendees of the NACE Northern Area Western Conference want to learn about the latest products and services in corrosion prevention and mitigation. This gives exhibiting companies the opportunity to showcase how their products and services can be effective in assisting with these concerns.
The Tradeshow Lounge will provide further opportunity to spend time with friends, socialize and expand your network of corrosion professionals in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
