What is the Michigan Safety Conference?
The Michigan Safety Conference is a two-day world class health and safety training event, held every Spring. Training is targeted at workplace health and safety issues. All businesses in Michigan are encouraged to send their employees responsible for health, safety and risk management operations.
Today, over 3,000 attendees make up the safety, health and environmental employees who seek information on the latest techniques and equipment. The conference is organized and operated as a not-for-profit corporation. Membership is on a voluntary basis, with representatives from business, industry, education, labor and government.
In addition to the annual conference, the Michigan Safety Conference sponsors annual scholarships to assist students who are enrolled in occupational safety and health programs at accredited Michigan universities.
2014 Exhibit Hall
Over 200 exhibitors participate each year in the Michigan Safety Conference.
In the exhibit hall you can find the latest products and technology available in the safety, health, security and environmental fields.

Approximately 3000 registered safety professionals attend the Trade Show as well as the quality programs put on by the following divisions: CET, Chemical, Construction, Emergency Management, Environmental Management, Fire Safety, Healthcare, Industrial (including metal fabricating), Industrial Hygiene, Insurance, Public Employer, Public Utilities, Security, and Transportation.

Marketing promotion includes: Website, Email campaign, Postcards and Advanced Program Flyer mailing, plus each of the above listed divisions advertise within their industry by e-mail, flyer mailings and meetings.

Our mission is to continually improve safety in Michigan workplaces through education, and we are attempting to fund as much of our annual conference as possible through donations from corporate and personal sponsorships to keep the cost of attendance as low as possible. As a non-profit organization, every dollar you donate goes directly to support the various educational efforts (more than 3,000 annual conference attendees), and multiple annual scholarships (more than $230,000 in total scholarships to date), we provide to support this mission.
