Medical Disaster Response 2015, was developed by the group that brings you Trauma, Critical Care & Acute Care Surgery and made its debut in 2008 to a sell-out crowd. It is specifically for clinical personnel who, in the "heat of battle," are trying to save patients' lives and limbs, often with limited space and workers, while trying to quickly determine how to manage more patients than the facility can process. Whether it is an overwhelmingly busy Friday night or a full-scale mass casualty, the clinical personnel are on the front line. Course faculty were selected for their first-hand experience in medical disaster response, and the program was designed to present maximum content in formats most conducive to learning and audience involvement.
MEDICAL DISASTER RESPONSE had its inaugural year in 2008 and opened to a sellout crowd and superb reviews from attendees. As with TCCACS, the course, which was limited to 350 attendees, had to close registrations two months out when all space was sold. We are pleased to be able to increase attendance capability in 2015 to 450 and to continue the 2011 added new dimension to the conference – YOU and an exhibit hall. This conference is attended by physicians, nurses, and administrators in the hospital/clinical setting, as well as city planners tasked with preparing for and respond to disasters and mass casualty situations. Vendors may wish to exhibit at one conference or the other, but many will find it beneficial to exhibit at both, so a discounted 'COMBO RATE" is offered.
