The INS Annual Convention and Industrial Exhibition is the largest convention dedicated to the specialty practice of infusion therapy in the United States each year. It is a six-day event, typically held in the month of May, comprising two meetings: the Spring National Academy, which features advanced-level education, and the Annual Meeting. The schedule consists of a keynote/opening session, concurrent general sessions, focus tracks, poster sessions, and evening social events. The Industrial Exhibition is open for three days.

For more than 40 years, the INS Annual Convention and Industrial Exhibition has been the largest meeting for infusion nursing professionals in the United States, drawing between 1000-1200 professional attendees each year. It consists of 6 days of educational programming, 3 days of which include dedicated exhibit hall hours.
