Inland Marine Expo (IMX) 2016
The Inland Marine Expo (IMX) is the annual trade show for the inland and intracoastal marine transportation industry. At the show, you will find equipment and services that are critical in the movement of goods along these waterways. Target attendees include ports and terminals, barge and towing companies, fleeting and harbor services companies, dredging companies and marine contractors, inland shipyards and repair facilities, and engineers, divers, surveyors and other support industries as well as government agencies.
Find the latest in equipment and services that will help your business along the inland and intracoastal waterways succeed! You will have direct access to the companies that sell to operators in this critical region without having to spend time sorting through offshore-only services.
Take part in our free educational sessions and network with fellow members of the industry at our special events! Ninety-seven percent of surveyed attendees said they were pleased with their experience at IMX, and 96 percent said they would recommend the event to colleagues.
By exhibiting at IMX, you will be able to meet face-to-face with top representatives of the inland and intracoastal marine transportation industry.
The inland marine transportation industry is composed of more than 25,000 barges, 3,700 towboats and tugs, and 12,000 miles of waterways with docks, fleets and repair facilities. It is the largest (by vessel), most active (by number of vessels built) and most diverse sector of the U.S. commercial marine industry.
IMX attracted 1,519 attendees and 208 exhibiting companies in 2015, with registration increasing 36.7 percent over the inaugural show in 2014. In 2016, IMX will be held at America’s Center Convention Complex, offering unprecedented space and accessibility.
IMX exhibitors will receive many benefits as part of their commitment to the event, including:
- Free registration for your booth staff and VIP guests
- Free listing and company description on the IMX website and in the IMX directory
- Inclusion in select marketing efforts leading up to the event (e.g. newsletters, mailings)
