Indiana Motorcycle Expo 2017

Overview

Within these pages you’ll discover all you need to know to fully enjoy your time at the show.  By visiting this website often you will be prepared to find your adventure upon arrival at the show.

Some say it’s a lifestyle.  We think that’s a serious understatement.  That’s why we dedicate the first weekend of the Ford Indianapolis Boat, Sport and Travel Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds to bringing you the Indiana Motorcycle Expo — the largest assembly of motorcycle, dealers, gear and accessory vendors you’ll find anywhere.

Located in the 70,000 square-foot Expo Hall, the Indiana Motorcycle Expo means more than just great deals on new motorcycles.  We recognize that different bikers are into different things.  Check us out and you’ll witness a mind-numbing variety of features and attractions to please and entertain all manner of two-wheeled aficionados.  That’s right, we do dirt, street, vintage, café and custom.  So whatever it is you’re into, know ahead of time that we’ll have the bikes, accessories, gear, fashions and services you need to hit the trails, lake or open road.

Frances W. Lemen

Frances has been riding since 1959. She learned on a BSA, and her first bike was a BMW. At first, she was not interested in “how to ride a motorcycle.” She enjoyed riding passenger, but after her husband insisted, she agreed to learn how to ride. She learned on the back roads near her house, and after riding on her own she no longer wanted to be a passenger. In 1963 she joined Motor Maids, Inc. and has since ridden coast to coast and border to border. She has also ridden up into Canada and to 45 states. She has held the offices of secretary, treasurer, historian and vice president of a motorcycle club and/or group.
