The Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival has been a local favorite for almost 25 years, and truly has something for every member of your family! Whether you’re joining us for the famous mouthwatering frog leg and gator tail dinners, just to browse the hundreds of booths for unique gifts, or wanting to listen to some great music and enjoy the fun rides - you’ll immediately know why this festival has become a success and an annual tradition for so many.
The Frog Leg Festival is a not for profit corporation comprised of a board of directors made up of Fellsmere community members. These Board members are helped by a large volunteer pool of clubs, organizations and other groups who number over 200 people.
The festival is dedicated to raising funds for the recreational needs of the children of Fellsmere, by contributing all of their funds to projects, parks, facilities and activities. Additionally, because the City of Fellsmere does not have a dedicated funding source to meet those needs, the Festival supports the participation of all children in quality recreational programs for those who might not otherwise have access to such programs.
Fun, Food & Entertainment
The main feature is of course, the mouthwatering frog leg and gator tail dinners! Enjoy all the wild and crazy rides for the young as well as the more adventurous, and test your skills at all the different games.
You might just want to relax and listen or take part in the full schedule of contests and entertainment on stage including great rock, country and blues bands. For those that enjoy browsing and shopping we have over one hundred booths of unique crafts and artisans.
There is absolutely something for every one, of every age, here at the Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival!
We are looking forward to a fantastic Festival and hope you are too! We will have excellent security, and hopefully great weather.
The Crafter’s will be located in a grassy area at the entrance to the festivities.
This year promises to be yet another great success! Over 60,000 visitors will pass along the Crafter area on their way to the midway and the Frog Leg Dinners. We have space for 100 Crafters this year, and will be first come, first serve.
