Family Medicine Forum (FMF) is Canada’s largest and most comprehensive annual conference for family physicians, and is hosted by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
FMF focuses on providing four energizing days of practical, cutting-edge, and thought-provoking educational opportunities. It features impressive daily keynote presentations and a vast array of continuing professional development (CPD) sessions designed specifically for family physicians, researchers, and teachers.
FMF also offers many special events, celebrations of achievements in family medicine, an extensive Exhibit Hall, and several social opportunities that allow you to recharge and network with peers and colleagues.
The FMF Exhibit Hall is a marketplace of activity designed to complement the clinical and educational activities of the scientific program sessions. Attendees are able to evaluate the latest developments relevant to family medicine in pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, diagnostics, computer hardware and software, educational publishing, patient care, nutrition, and information management, and become familiar with other services and suppliers that meet the standards of generally accepted medical practice. The conference schedule has been designed to provide several hours of free time for physicians to visit the Exhibit Hall.
Representing more than 35,000 members across the country, the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) is the professional organization responsible for establishing standards for the training, certification and lifelong education of family physicians and for advocating on behalf of the specialty of family medicine, family physicians and their patients. The CFPC accredits postgraduate family medicine training in Canada’s 17 medical schools.
