Beginning with statistics on the prevalence of primary and secondary victimization, facilitator Lynn Fairweather will guide participants through a collection of real life cases, with a focus on the common denominators between them. From there, attendees will discover the first strategy, learning how to shift their security approach from reactive to proactive defense. Within this unit they will explore key threat assessment and management concepts such as “The Kindling and the Spark”, “The Path to Intended Violence” and “The Dangerous Dog”.
