Ready, set, go! – To the most delicious 5k race weekend ever! Cooking Light & Health’s The Fit Foodie 5K Race Weekend is the ultimate celebration of food, fitness and fun. The weekend is jam-packed with a VIP cocktail party, a 5k run, gourmet food tastings, a fitness bootcamp, yoga demonstrations, tons of amazing giveaways, and more!
The weekend kicks off on Friday, November 14, with a pre-race Light Up the Night VIP Cocktail party where runners are treated to special giveaways before the big race, all while mixing and mingling with the editors of Cooking Light & Health, and fellow Fit Foodies.
On Saturday, November 15, runners lace up their sneakers and hit the ground running for the 5K race and Finisher’s Village. Upon crossing the finish line, runners will celebrate their success in style at the Finisher’s Village post-race celebration, featuring delicious food, as well as fitness and culinary demonstrations. Cooking Light & Health’s The Fit Foodie 5K Race Weekend gives participants a unique opportunity to enjoy food and fitness from acclaimed professionals in one setting.
The festivities will conclude on Sunday, November 16, in true Fit Foodie fashion. Guests will have the choice of a morning yoga session, or an obstacle course boot camp. Immediately following each workout, participants will be treated to a nutritious brunch.
