The Comcast Bite of Seattle Serves up the Food and Fun!
For one weekend out of the year, the hard work and creativity of restaurant owners and their chefs become center stage at the Comcast Bite of Seattle. The Bite's dedication to the culinary arts is displayed not only by the 50+ Seattle area restaurants and 30+ food product companies that participate in the event, but through other attractions that are created specifically in support of the hospitality industry. Examples include The Alley hosted by Tom Douglas, Beer & Wine Gardens, Bite Wine Tasting and The Bite Cooks!,which features Seattle-area celebrity chefs performing cooking demonstrations.
Entertainment is an essential part of the Comcast Bite of Seattle. With over 150 acts in all, there is always something for everyone's listening pleasure. There are eight outdoor entertainment stages featuring all genres of music with local and national entertainment located all over the Bite grounds. If you're looking to laugh, visit the Comedy Club inside of the Fisher Pavilion (must be 21)!
Restaurant - The Bite is a restaurant showcase and marketing dream! Let us know if you need an application to bring your restaurant to the event. Gain exposure for your food, your restaurant and your chef to thousands while making money at the same time.
On-Ground Vendor - This category is for concessionaires who have a limited menu and are looking for strong sales in a high volume location at the festival.
Craft, Commercial or Specialty Food Product Vendor - There are two types of craft vendors at the Bite - those selling handcrafted items (made by the seller) and those selling commercial crafts.
Street Performer - If you provide a form of entertainment that is interactive such as a character artist or henna artist, this category is for you. Space for street vendors is limited.
Employment - The Bite is always looking for energetic and fun people to work at the events in a large variety of paid positions.
Charity - If you represent a non-profit charitable organization that wants to get involved with the Bite, let us know.

About Festivals Inc.
Festivals Inc. has been a regional leader in the event industry for almost 30 years. The company has created, consulted and produced events around the country since its inception in 1982, experiencing incredible growth since that time. It all began when our CFO, Alan Silverman, created and produced the Bite of Seattle™ (still the company’s flagship event) in 1982. An estimated 75,000 people attended the first Bite and sampled culinary creations from 25 restaurants. The Bite now attracts over 450,000 people in three days and hosts over 60 restaurants, plus entertainment stages, cooking demonstrations and many other venues.
What started with the Bite of Seattle has branched out to over 30 events that the staff of Festivals Inc. has created, consulted and managed. With a permanent staff of seven and a network of experienced contractors that spans the region, Festivals Inc. has had a hand in many of the major events in the Seattle area (see list below) and has played a valuable role in shaping Washington State’s festival and event landscape.
