The theme of the 12th Annual CitiesAlive Green Roof and Wall Conference is - 'Water: the Key to Everything Green'.
If you wish to be a presenter at CitiesAlive, here is the application process you must follow:
This year you may submit an individual paper (presentation) or a session proposal for the Design Track and Policy Track.
Session proposal: 1.5 hours (3 speakers with 3 presentations focused on a similar topic/theme)
Paper abstracts: 30 minutes (1 presentation will be placed with 2 other presentations who submitted individual papers)
For the Research Track we are only accepting paper abstracts.

Conference presentation will be organized along three major tracks (Research Track, Design Track, and Policy Track) and in 2014 we are focused on presentations in the topic areas listed above. Other topics are welcome but these subjects will be given priority.
1. Abstract submission deadline: Monday March 3
2. Candidates notified of their acceptances by: Monday March 31
3. Deadline for speakers to confirm interest in presenting by: Friday April 4
4. First draft of papers due for peer review (Research Track): June 2
5. Final draft of Policy Track and Design Track due: Monday, June 2
6. Peer reviewed papers returned to speakers (Research Track): July 7
7. Final draft of peer reviewed papers due (Research Track): October 17
8. Speaker PowerPoint presentations due: Monday October 27
9. CitiesAlive in Nashville: November 12 – November 15. If you are selected to be a speaker at CitiesAlive 2014 your presentation will be scheduled for either Thursday November 13th or 14th at the Omni Hotel in Nashville.
