This 70th annual event features shows by comedian and hypnotist Herb McCandless, the McNally Pig Races, Dakota & Friends children’s show, Heritage Farm displays and demonstrations, a train display, “Farmer for a Day” program, thousands of exhibits, animal shows, favorite fair food, and a carnival midway with rides for all ages.

 Hours are 4 to 11 p.m. Sept. 27-30 and 11 a.m. to midnight Oct. 1. Admission is $8 for anyone over 36 inches tall. Ride wristbands are $20.
