As the premier and largest training conference for prevention and treatment professionals, CADCA’s National Leadership Forum is a 4-day event packed with multiple opportunities to learn the latest strategies to fight substance abuse and hear from nationally-known experts and policymakers. The Forum brings together more than 2,700 participants representing community anti-drug coalitions from all regions of the country, government leaders, youth, addiction treatment professionals, researchers, educators, law enforcement professionals and faith-based leaders. Coalitions are optimal vehicles to bring about population-level change in communities. And, often, in order to take action, coalitions must first take the time to be good listeners of the “buzz” about substance abuse problems across all segments of their community.
