In 2016, CAA will return to Washington, DC for the first time in twenty-five years for its 104th Annual Conference. The four-day event will be held at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel from Wednesday, February 3 through Saturday, February 6.
CAA's Annual Conference consists of four days of presentations, panel discussions, workshops, special events, and exhibitions exploring the study, practice, and history of art and visual culture. Individual CAA members receive discounts on conference registration. Institutional members can register up to ten faculty and staff members at the reduced, individual-member rate during the early registration period, and additionally receive the member rate on Interview Hall booths and tables. New this year, institutional members can also buy discounted registrations for their students!

Over 12,000 artists, art historians, scholars, curators, critics, collectors, educators, publishers, and other professionals in the visual arts belong as individual members. Another 2,000 departments of art and art history in colleges and universities, art schools, museums, libraries, and professional and commercial organizations hold institutional memberships.
