Event Overview:

The Annual Meeting is held each year in February or March. With over 7,000 attendees, the meeting is the largest gathering of biophysicists around the world. Over 4,000 abstracts are submitted each year, which are programmed into poster and platform sessions.

The meeting includes symposia, workshops, platform sessions, subgroup programs, and the National Lecture, as well as educational exhibits, exhibitor presentations, career-related programs, and committee events.

Exhibitor Information:

The Biophysical Society's Annual Meeting is the leading forum for investigators specializing in the fastest growing scientific discipline, Biophysics. The strength of our scientific sessions draws the international academic community, as well as representatives from industry and government, to keep current on the latest scientific research.

Exhibit space is offered for the purpose of providing the 9,000+ global members, and others in the scientific community, access to products and services necessary to continue their important research. Annual Meeting attendees are eager to find products and services that contribute to their work.

Why Exhibit?

Location, Location, Location

The 2015 Annual Meeting will take place in Baltimore, Maryland, a region known for being one of the world's hubs for medical research, discovery and biotechnology. In addition, Baltimore:

  • Ranks 6th in biotech venture capital funding over the past seven years
  • Ranks 4th in biotech and diagnostics employment
  • Home to top colleges and universities including: Johns Hopkins, University of Maryland, Towson University, Loyola University Maryland, and the US Naval Academy

Exhibitor Benefits

As a Biophysical Society Annual Meeting Exhibitor you have the advantage of interacting with a year's worth of interdisciplinary customers in a few days. We offer an affordable targeted marketing opportunity that allows you to:

  • Generate new leads and sales
  • Launch new products
  • Gain valuable insight into your competitors products and marketing techniques
  • Increase your corporate recognition and brand awareness
  • Interact with enthusiastic researchers
  • Network with prospective customers and catch up with existing clients

We Bring Attendees to You

In order for you, the exhibitor, to have access to as many attendees as possible, we have designed the Exhibit Hall and planned activities to create optimal booth traffic. Inside the hall we have:

  • Scientific poster sessions surrounding the Exhibit Hall to create traffic flow
  • Viewing of entries in The Art of Science Image Contest
  • The exclusive location of all morning and afternoon break times
  • The popular Biomolecular Discovery Dome
  • The Graduate and Postdoc Institution Fair on Monday afternoon
  • Exhibitor Coupon Book
  • NEW this year: The Exhibitor Presentations will be located inside the Exhibit Hall

However, what our exhibitors appreciate the most is that our scientific sessions close the day after the Exhibit Hall, so attendees are still actively engaged on the last day of exhibits.

About The Biophysical Society:

The Biophysical Society was founded in 1958 to encourage development and dissemination of knowledge in biophysics. It does so through its many programs, including its meetings, publications, and committee outreach activities. The Society's members, now over 9,000, work in academia, industry, and in government agencies throughout the world.

There may be many networking opportunities at the Biophysical Society 59th Annual Meeting. Find out more in the event details below.
