AOSSM’s Annual Meeting brings together more than 1,700 leaders within the sports medicine industry, including orthopaedic sports medicine specialists, non-member physicians, allied health professionals, fellows and industry representatives. Over two thirds of AOSSM’s members indicate that the Society is their most utilized source of sports medicine information and education – more than any other orthopaedic or sports medicine organization. Non-member attendees are either general orthopedists with a special interest in sports medicine or other medical specialists who want to stay current with the specialty.
As the leading orthopaedic sports medicine organization, AOSSM provides excellent educational opportunities every year that bring together surgeons and allied health professionals, sports medicine specialists and the broader orthopaedic community. We encourage you to act promptly if you are interested in exhibiting at an AOSSM meeting.
Formed primarily as a forum for education and research, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine has increased its membership from its modest start of less than 100 to nearly 3,000 today.
AOSSM members are physicians and allied health professionals who demonstrate scientific leadership, involvement and dedication in the daily practice of sports medicine.
