Creating family fun since 1948, Vermont’s largest agricultural fair features live entertainment, exhibits, crafts, 4-H workshops, pony and ox pulling, farm animal shows, racing pigs, stunt dog shows, children’s barnyard activities, magic and hypnotism shows, a demolition derby, tractor pulls and midway rides for all ages.
Fair hours are 8 a.m. to midnight. Midway rides, presented by Dreamland Amusements, are open from noon to 11 p.m. Unlimited ride bracelets are $15 from 6 to 11 p.m. Aug. 9; $20 from noon to 11 p.m. Aug. 10; $12 from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 12; and $17 from 6 to 11 p.m. Aug. 11, 12 or 13.
