The 74th Scientific Sessions, held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from June 13-17, brought together more than 17,300 attendees from more than 121 countries. This year's program included 771 speakers addressing participants at 96 symposia, 50 oral abstract sessions, 10 interest group discussions, 18 meet-the-expert sessions, and 10 special lectures and addresses. In addition, more than 2,000 abstracts were given as poster presentations.
The American Diabetes Association's Scientific Sessions brings together scientists and health care professionals from around the world who are involved in diabetes research and care.
