Event Overview:

Winter and Summer National Meetings

These National Meetings, held each winter and summer, are opportunities for members, colleagues, and future physicists from around the world to:

  • participate in physics workshops
  • meet and greet other physics educators
  • form networks nationally and locally
  • engage exhibitors and learn about the latest physics resources
  • discuss innovations in teaching methods
  • share the results of research about teaching and learning.

Exhibitor Information:

Exhibit participation at AAPT National Meetings can be one of the best marketing tools you ever use - it's certainly one of the most cost effective options for generating new leads, interacting with current customers and introducing new products or services.Booth activity can get a big boost from pre-meeting promotion. This is especially true when attendees have limited time in their schedule to visit with vendors. Let the attendees know that you are going to be there; give them a good reason to visit your booth and offer something for stopping by. Your best bet is a multi-faceted approach that contains as many of the following as possible.

In an effort to provide a “hands-on” forum for exhibiting companies, AAPT schedules workshops designed to give exhibitors a unique selling tool to enhance the presentation/sale of products and services. To increase the resources available to our members, we invite companies producing materials useful to science educators to present workshops at the National Meetings. This is an opportunity to direct sales to those people most interested in your company’s products and services.

About AAPT:

AAPT was established in 1930 with the fundamental goal of ensuring the "dissemination of knowledge of physics, particularly by way of teaching." Founders, Homer L. Dodge, Paul E. Klopsteg, and William S. Webb, led the effort to organize the first association dedicated to improving physics education. Today that vision is supported by members around the world.

Don't wait to register for the AAPT Summer Meeting 2017 - American Association Of Physics Teachers. You'll meet influential people and maximize your opportunities for success. Start now by accessing the information below.
