As part of our commitment to bring art education into the community, young artists are invited to enter into the Budding Artists Art Competition. This program encourages students ages 9-19, or grades 6-12, to submit their original and personally handmade art work to be publicly displayed at the event, and also for the opportunity to win cash prizes. There is $250 in Budding Artist award: $100 Best Budding Artist, and three $50 Budding Artist Awards of Excellence. The art work entered will be placed in the "Budding Artists Art Competition" tent the duration of the art fair. These young artists begin to learn the process of being part of a professional art show, and are encouraged to speak with the professional artists in the show.
