In the spring of each year, the MPSA holds one of the largest political science conferences in the discipline. In 2013, more than 5,700 presenters from the United States and 55 countries throughout the world presented more than 4,700 papers. MPSA is an international academic association with members in the United States as well as over 90 other countries. Founded in 1939, MPSA is dedicated to the advancement of scholarship in all areas of political science. The association publishes one of the premier journals in the field, the American Journal of Political Science, and hosts attendees at its annual conference every spring – the largest political science conference in the country with approximately 1,100 sessions, more than 5,000 papers presented and nearly 6,000 authors/speakers.
With an exhibit hall which boasts nearly 14,000 square feet, nearly 50 exhibitors and over 5,000 attendees, as an exhibitor, you will have unprecedented exposure to the decision makers who plan courses and select textbooks. Average daily foot traffic in the exhibit hall has grown to over 3,000 which enables you to meet the people you need to know! The exhibit hall is the center of conference activity and includes charging stations and refreshments. The Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA) was founded in 1939 and is dedicated to the advancement of scholarship in all areas of political science.
The purposes of the MPSA are to promote the professional study and teaching of political science, to facilitate communications between those engaged in such study, and to develop standards for and encourage research in theoretical and practical political problems. As such, MPSA is a nonpartisan association. It does not support political parties or candidates.
